The Peruvian Patent Marketplace (PPM) is an online platform that enables the interaction between Peruvian designers and inventors with national and international market players who are interested in negotiating or acquiring locally developed products or technologies that are protected or seeking Intellectual Property rights.
Following similar international platforms, it brings together those who have technologies and want to make them available for licensing and those who have an interest in and the ability to commercialize the technologies.
If you want to make your inventions available for licensing, the Peruvian Marketplace Platform provides a centralized and easily accessible place to list Peruvian patents and patent application publications.
The platform has recently surpassed the 237 creations, according to the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi), which has stated that, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the tool looks to facilitate the arrival into the market of inventions that can help overcome the social, economic and sanitary crisis.
Most of the 237 creations correspond to Utilities (55 patents), Health (47), Electronics (22), Agriculture and Agroindustry (20), Transportation (15), Energy (14), Home Products (13), Environment (12) and Biotechnology (10). Other sectors also linked to inventions are Housing, Medicine, Mining and Metallurgy.
