Government officials of exports and investments of El Salvador participated in the forum "Doing Business with El Salvador" in the search for new business opportunities that expand trade, investments and exports with entrepreneurs and companies from Costa Rica.
In an event organized by the embassy of El Salvador in Costa Rica, 240 businessmen learned about the conditions of legal security to invest in El Salvador. The purpose of the forum was to showcase the economic and commercial panorama of El Salvador and to promote the main business sectors that the country has to offer. A solid legal framework was of the main items highlighted by Government officials.
In 2021 total trade between El Salvador and Costa Rica was $ 655.5 million, a growth of 22.4% compared to 2020. In 2021 exports from El Salvador to Costa Rica registered $279.7 million, a growth of 20.2% compared to 2020.
